There's a certain feeling of "getting away with it" when you procrastinate until the last possible minute to do something you know you have to. Oh, just me? But that isn't a guarantee for destination Regretsville. Instead, we've gathered some product workarounds for the stuff you always ALWAYS put off doing, like a laundry folding board for that 3-day-old laundry basket of clean clothes and a budget-friendly set of press-on nails for when you've got an event in an hour but never made it to the nail salon. My colleague Heather Braga is a huge fan: "The color-adaptive formula is designed so one of four shades will work on any skin tone. I've personally tested this out, and it has become an essential part of my daily routine. As a mom of two, I gotta just say I am TIRED. So tired that I'm not sure what my face even looks like without bags under my eyes — that is, unless I've got the Catrice "Instant Awake" on. A little really goes a long way and has great coverage. I wore it throughout my sister's wedding weekend in Aruba, and despite the heat, it stayed perfectly in place. An incredible product for an even more incredible price...10/10 from me." Promising review: "Girlies with dark under-eyes, probs like myself, need to have a brightener! I used to spend $40 on Becca. This one is better, in my opinion!!" —Caitlin Newcomb "This is my second time buying this product. First one lasted many months. It's perfect for hiding dark circles. I find that it works better than the high-end brands." —Mari Cortes Get it from Amazon for $6 (available in four shades). Check out a TikTok of the foaming pink drain cleaner in action. Promising review: "Wow! I don't think I've ever been more excited to use a cleaning product before. Who knew you could get so much satisfaction from a drain cleaner. I could probably make an ASMR video and post it, as it is that satisfying! Even though I had to angle this over my sink drain, to avoid the low faucet, it worked perfectly. The foam went down the drain and up through the overflow, bringing lots of black, yucky gunk with it. I have used lots of drain cleaners before, but not one that actually came up through the overflow. I'd never even considered what stuff was in there. It did a great job of cleaning everything out and it left the sink smelling fresh and clean as well." —Amazon Customer Promising review: "For those not fully familiar with how it works, what it's accomplishing is trying to surround your liquid with as much ice-behind-metal as possible. So, it has a center chamber of ice behind the metal, then an outer chamber of ice. The inner chamber fits inside the outer with about a cup's worth of space that's between the inner and outer chamber. This exposes your liquid to the greatest surface area of super-cold metal that they can, and since your liquid is only touching metal, and not the ice itself, it doesn't matter the temperature of the liquid poured in. You can pour in boiling water and while it may end up melting a bunch of the ice behind the metal, none of that water will mix with your drink. So, whether you're chilling a wine, dropping hot coffee to cool it off, or just wanting to rapidly drop the temp of that fresh lemonade you made without making it watery, this will get that done." —P. Ericksen Get it from Amazon for $20.49+ (available in four colors). Promising review: "Fell in love with these by total accident. I was looking for an alternative to energy drinks, and these fell into my lap. I am not a coffee drinker, as the coffee is way too acidic for me to take. I was given a free can by a person who bought this by accident. I gave it a try and love them! I was able to stomach the whole can with no lasting issues through the next day. The can says it all, creamy and smooth, great flavor, and ice cold. I would recommend purchasing this if you want a quick coffee boost for a good price." —Peter Dragon Get a 12-pack from Amazon for $29.91 (also check out more La Colombe flavors). Promising review: "This product delivers exactly as promised and is incredibly easy to use. I suffer from dry skin and often apply various products to soften my feet. With this, I simply spray it on and immediately massage it in with my hands. The dead skin comes off effortlessly. There's no waiting time, and it's gentle on the skin. It leaves my feet feeling exceptionally soft. This has quickly become my new favorite thing." —KimT Promising review: "You know when your life gets better after you purchase a specific product? Well, this is that product. With this Texas summer weather approaching, wearing a bra is like sticking your breasts in a straitjacket! I slapped these bad boys on today and went braless in a white tank top! I'm a happy woman!" —Amazon Customer Get a pair from Amazon for $18.79+ (available in three sizes, five shades, and a version that provides lift). But over the last couple of years, I’ve been trying to find a new moisturizer with SPF that doesn’t bankrupt me. I need something that can help my dry skin, protect from the sun, and not irritate my sensitive skin. I was skeptical about this product, never having heard of the brand, but I gave it a try. I am SO thrilled with the results. This moisturizer is BETTER than the $55 alternative I have been using. It moisturizes like a dream. It doesn’t pill. And my sensitive skin loves it. I am THRILLED with my purchase and will definitely be back for more!" —R. Berry Promising review: "This Kitsch French hairpin is both beautiful and functional. The gold finish is sleek and adds a touch of elegance, whether I'm dressing up or going casual. It holds my thick hair in place all day without slipping and is much more comfortable than hair ties. Lee Hall Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in four colors and in two packs). Curlinator Designs is a North Carolina-based small biz that specializes in hair accessories. Promising review: "Finally, a solution for toddler flyaways that actually works! I bought the Kitsch Fly Away Stick for Hair specifically for my toddler's wispy, fine hair, and I am absolutely blown away. Her delicate baby hairs constantly pop out, but a quick swipe of this stick tames them instantly. It provides a surprisingly strong hold without feeling heavy or leaving any sticky residue – crucial for sensitive little heads! It's so gentle, easy to use, and quickly gives her ponytails and braids that polished look without the fuss of hairspray. If you're struggling to keep your little one's hair neat, this is your holy grail product. Highly recommend for fellow parents!" —Gabriella Diaz Promising review: "Let me start off with this: I hate folding laundry. I absolutely hate it. I've seen this thing all over social media. I decided to try it out and OH. MY. GOSH. I freaking love it! It's super easy to use and my clothes are perfectly folded every time. As weird as it sounds, I actually look forward to folding my laundry now. I wish I had purchased this sooner! I like the design it has and I love how compact it is. After I'm finished folding my laundry, I just fold up the folding board and tuck it away! It's lightweight and seems durable. I recommend this to everyone, even those who hate folding clothes. I was skeptical at first, but after trying it out, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and this product! It's worth every penny!" —Kayli Get it from Amazon for $16.99 (available in five colors). Promising review: "I finally gave up and bought a charging station for several devices. I travel a lot, and taking turns charging my iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch was annoying, especially if the room had a limited number of outlets and I was not the only one who needed to charge all of them ASAP — plus, hauling all of the cords. Ugh. Hooray, I'm hustle-free now. It comes with one fold-up station, one cord, and one nob for three devices that charge simultaneously. It works with my iPhone 12 Pro Max from 2020, Apple Watch Series 6 from 2020, and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) from 2022 without issues. I am more than satisfied with the purchase." —Sneaky Pete Get it from Amazon for $27.98+ (available in six colors). I've worn COUNTLESS sets of Kiss imPRESS nails, including the metallic/iridescent/cat-eye/chrome line Color FX. These are super easy to apply. I just like to rough up my bare nails a little bit with the included nail file (it gives the glue strips more to grip onto), then wipe 'em off with the alcohol wipe, let them dry while I dump out the nails and line up the sizes I want for each finger. After that, you simply peel off the thin film to reveal the sticky strip and put on your chosen nail. In my experience, these nails can last me about a week. I think they wear a little bit longer than other brands' nails that already have the glue strip applied. It's truly such a simple process that I've even done them during work video calls (sorry, HR!). I've used Kiss nails for years and they recently overhauled a bit with more sizes of nails per package so it's a bit easier to find a fit for your nails! Also, they're quite affordable! I'm forever getting compliments on my manicure and can hardly resist saying, "Thanks, they're press-ons!" and then proselytizing to the person about how they should really try press-ons. Get them from Amazon for $8.97+ (available in black or silver). Londontown is a small business that specializes in nail care products. Promising review: "This nail veil is so pretty and perfect for a simple, bare nail look! It applies very smoothly, and one to two coats work well. With a top coat, it lasts almost perfectly for about five days, but chips are not very noticeable, so you can easily wear it for longer! I also feel confident in this brand's use of healthier, higher-quality ingredients, which makes it well worth the extra cost. My nails aren't left damaged by this product, and it has become my go-to when I don't have the time for a full-color look but still want my nails to look polished and pretty!" —Sofia K Get it from Amazon for $20 (available in nine shades). Also check out the brand's illuminating nail concealers if you love the idea of this product but want a little bit of a color. Promising review: "I do not know how I lived without them. I have saved a bunch on unnecessary alterations." —Gerald Voigt Get a five-pack of pants extenders for $6.99. Promising review: "There are the best things ever. I have jeans that fit great but the waist is always too loose. So I saw these on TikTok, and I was so curious to see if they worked or not. But seriously, you need to buy these, the buttons are great material and just the most useful things overall." —Alexa Botello I live in an apartment without a dishwasher, and I honestly use that as an excuse to order takeout food instead of cooking. But, as soon as I got my hands on a bottle of this stuff (regular Dawn is my go-to dish soap, BTW), I put it to use on both a saucepan I used to make homemade enchilada sauce *and* the casserole dish I baked those enchiladas, which had a ton of caked-on food. It really does work like I say it does! Like, scary well. Promising review: "Cleaning abilities are endless with this product. Repeat buyer. 🧽🪣" —Shopaholic & Reviews Get the starter pack from Amazon for $17.99. Promising review: "I had never tried this before, and I am so glad I did. It works great! Within seconds of applying it to my nails, the cuticle becomes soft, and I can remove it right away. I used to never remove my cuticles when doing my nails, I guess because I didn't really know how to, but since I started using this product, my nails look so good. I'm happy with the product and the results." —ABernal Note that eye drops can potentially mask symptoms of eye conditions, so you should talk to your eye doctor about what's right for you. And according to Mayo Clinic, you should avoid redness-reducing drops if you're looking for dry eye relief. Promising review: "I have a big spot of blood vessels in the inner corner of my left eye. I use the expensive lubricant eye drops for moisture — I've used Visine, Clear Eyes, you name it. No eye drop has made my eyes look this great. Only Lumify! I was soo happy when I looked in the mirror and saw some beauty in my eyes instead of darkness and redness." —Angela Leonard "Two drops in your eyes and all day, they look perfectly white and healthy. I would definitely buy these again." —Kelley Promising review: "This air fryer guide is so useful that I purchased several for family members. They really like it too. It stores conveniently on my refrigerator by the magnet on the back." —Spindoc16 Get it from Amazon for $7.10 (also available in Instant Pot and keto-friendly versions). Check out a TikTok of the Monday Dry Shampoo in action. Promising review: "I was thoroughly impressed with this dry shampoo. It does have a white cast, but that can easily be worked into the hair to become undetectable." —Meg B. Psst — Batiste has had a version for brown hair for awhile. You can get that for $15.99. Get it from Walmart for $8.97 or Target for $12.49. Promising review: "If it were possible to give 10 stars, this product is definitely worth it. I originally bought this in the store and was most impressed with how well it cleaned the refrigerator from all fingerprints and watermarks. My friend came over and said, 'What in the world did you clean your refrigerator with because it looks brand new?!' It is the best product I have ever used on my refrigerator and stove! Just wipe down and let it sink in, then wipe over with a clean, soft towel for a polished, shiny look! IT IS MARVELOUS! I SAY MARVELOUS! Don't bother with sprays! I bought two containers so that I will not run out for a long time!" —Roie Psst, I use this with great success on my shower in my rental apartment! Promising review: "Bought this because of the reviews, and I’m not disappointed. I moved into a rental house that had a dirty tub with those yellow ring stains. I couldn’t get on my knees and scrub them, so I was excited to try this product. It took three sprays with drying time in between, but they are almost invisible. But do be careful because the residue can leave a slippery surface, which the directions warn about." —Michele Useful Products is a US-based small business established in 2007 by car wash owner, electrician, and former bodybuilder Anthony LaPolla that specializes in drill-cleaning brushes and attachments. Each of the different brush colors indicates which tasks the brushes are meant for based on their bristle type, so be sure to check which one is best suited for whatever you need to for! Yellow is the “all-purpose” medium bristle, but some are softer and harder depending on what types of surfaces you’re cleaning (but none of them will scratch!). Promising review: "Superb.
