The Texas-born Buc-ee's travel center chain-known for its massive stores, famously clean bathrooms, and beaver mascot-has received an F rating from the Better Business Bureau, according to a report from MSN. The rating comes after nearly 90 complaints were filed against the company, with the BBB citing a "failure to respond to 88 complaints" among the reasons for the failing grade, according to the report. BBB ratings range from A+ to F and consider factors such as how businesses handle and respond to customer complaints. While customer reviews don't directly affect the score, responsiveness does. The chain operates 54 locations across 11 states and plans to expand into several new states, including Ohio, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. The brand has built a strong following for its oversized travel centers, brisket sandwiches, jerky walls, and popular snacks such as beaver nuggets. Its largest location, a 75,000-square-foot store with 120 fuel pumps, opened in Luling, Texas, in 2024, according to the report.
