After the curtains closed at the Oscars, Hollywood still had plenty of celebrating to do.

For years, the hottest post-awards activity has been the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where winners, contenders and other A-listers sip champagne and mingle the night away. The soiree, held this year at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, also offered Academy Awards attendees a chance to shed their formalwear and slip into something a little more daring for the second leg of the evening.

After presenting Best Picture with her “Moulin Rouge” co-star Ewan McGregor, actor Nicole Kidman traded her feathery nude number for textured gold couture.

Kim Kardashian didn’t attend the main event, but embraced the Oscar glow in a glittering long-sleeved Gucci dress with very tall platform heels. (Her little sister, Kylie Jenner, did snag a seat at the Dolby Theater, where she was Best Actor nominee Timothée Chalamet’s date.)

Pop star Dua Lipa shimmered in a halter-neck Schiaparelli gown with a cascade of chains at the front.

Zoe Saldaña, a presenter at this year’s ceremony and last year’s Best Supporting Actress winner, opted for short and sweet in a blue lace mini dress with silver heels.

The legendary actor and activist Jane Fonda paired brown sequins and jewels with a pin that said “Stop the merger,” a nod to the media mega-corp Paramount Skydance’s bid to consolidate the entertainment world with its impending purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery.
