A resurfaced video from 2015 shows reality TV star Joseph Duggar discussing his brother Josh Duggar’s sex abuse scandal nearly 11 years before his own arrest on a child molestation charge.

The teaser video was posted in December 2015 for “Jill & Jessa: Counting On,” the series that replaced the previous Duggar family show, “19 Kids And Counting,” which was canceled after the revelation that Josh Duggar was investigated for allegedly sexually molesting five underage girls, some of whom were his sisters.

“I don’t think there’s any way any of us would’ve known that my brother’s living such a secret life,” he says in the clip.

The now-31-year-old Joseph Duggar was arrested in Arkansas, where he lives, on Wednesday and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior on a child under 12 years old, according to an arrest affidavit from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Panama City, Florida, obtained by The Associated Press.

Officers in Tontitown, Arkansas, told Bay County deputies that a 14-year-old girl told them that Joseph Duggar molested her several times during a family trip to Panama City Beach when she was 9.

The girl’s father said Joseph Duggar admitted the abuse this week to him in a private conversation and later in a phone call with a detective on the line.

The allegations against Joseph Duggar come nearly 11 years after it was revealed that his older brother Josh Duggar was being investigated for alleged sexual molestation.

Although no charges were filed against Josh Duggar at the time of the original news due to the statute of limitations, he was later convicted of downloading and possessing child pornography in 2021. He is currently serving a sentence of over 12 years at the Federal Correctional Institution Seagoville in Texas.
