As Elvis Presley might have famously sung, wise men say only fools ask Graceland employees truly idiotic hypothetical questions.

On Monday, during President Donald Trump’s trip to Nashville, he decided to pop over to Graceland, the Memphis home of the late rock ’n roll icon that has been preserved as a museum.

At one point during his visit, docents asked Trump to sign a replica of a black guitar used by Elvis during 1973′s “Aloha From Hawaii” concert. When the instrument was placed in front of Trump, he spotted a karate patch on it, prompting a female docent to explain that Presley had “two eighth-degree black belts in karate.”

“Was he really good, or was it just...?” Trump asked, before trailing off.

“Actually, he was really good,” the female docent told Trump.

This is when things got weirder than Presley’s love for banana, peanut butter and bacon sandwiches.

“OK. Could I have taken him in a fight?” Trump asked.

“I don’t know, you might,” the female docent said before a male docent interjected.

“I think he would’ve been respectful enough to let you win,” he said.

“Yes, he probably would,” the female docent agreed.

And people were worried about Biden's cognitive abilities.

But with Trump at war with Iran for unclear reasons, U.S. citizens and businesses struggling with skyrocketing gas prices, ICE officers deployed to airports and other unsettling issues currently plaguing the U.S., most critics had a variation of the same response to Trump’s “field trip” to Graceland. As one X user said: “The world is in a shit show and he’s talking about fighting Elvis. I can’t even.”

This country is truly fucked. We’re in a war in the Middle East, gas prices are spiking, our airports are falling apart, and our “president” is talking about fighting Elvis

WTF So during a war that is costing billions of dollars to the taxpayers, The Attorney General & POTUS are on a f’n field trip to Graceland. Trump must be trying to figure out how he can re-name it, claim it & rob it.

Just last month, Trump pondered another bonkers question about Presley. On his social media site Truth Social, he claimed that people had been telling him for “many years” that he and Elvis look alike.

“What do you think?” Trump asked, alongside an image of his and Presley’s faces morphed together.

“There is quite literally no resemblance 😂,” a X user shot back.
