Steve Bannon Suggests ICE At Airports Is A 'Test Run' For Something Bigger

Steve Bannon has suggested that the recent ICE agent deployments to U.S. airports could be a “test run” for the 2026 midterm elections. “We can use what’s happening with these ICE helping out at the airports, we can use this as a test run, as a test case, to really perfect ICE’s involvement in the 2026 midterm elections,” Bannon said to guest Mike Davis on Monday’s episode of his “War Room” podcast. Davis, founder of the conservative advocacy group The Article III Project, concurred with Bannon’s suggestion. “Yeah, I think we should have ICE agents at the polling places,” Davis said, “because if you’re an illegal alien, you can’t vote.” Davis also said that American citizens “should be happy that ICE is there because you’re not gonna have illegal aliens cancelling out your vote.” Bannon, the former White House chief strategist during the first Trump administration, has made similar suggestions about ICE at polling locations in the past. “We’re going to have ICE surround the polls come November. We’re not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again,” Bannon said in February on his podcast. “And you can whine and cry and throw your toys out of the pram all you want, but we will never again allow an election to be stolen.” Watch the clip of Bannon’s show here: Steve Bannon: “We can use this, ICE helping at airports, as a test run, a test case, to really perfect ICE’s involvement in the 2026 midterms.Mike Davis: “I think we should have ICE agents at the polling places” Saying the quiet part out loud. pic.twitter.com/KardWXYjrq By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
