Former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz made a bold claim about a secret U.S. government program that, to be honest, many will find alienating ― literally.

In an interview posted Tuesday with podcaster Benny Johnson, Gaetz insisted there’s a secret program that is actively working to breed alien-human hybrids designed to help officials communicate with people on other worlds.

“I had someone come and brief me who was in a military uniform, worked for the United States Army, that was briefing me on the locations of hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication,” Gaetz told Johnson. “An actual uniformed member of the United States Army briefed me on that.”

Gaetz described the man that gave him the extraterrestrial info as both a “senior enlisted man with the U.S. Army” and a “whistleblower.”

He then claimed the man told him that the secret program forced extraterrestrials in custody to mate with humans that had been abducted from war zones or “even from caravans with migrants.”

Gaetz admitted he didn’t verify the whistleblower’s claims, but said he was told there were between six and 12 breeding facilities around the country.

The ET informant’s goal in talking with Gaetz and other members of Congress was to get some of them to show up at the various breeding spots to ensure the alleged activities taking place would not be moved to other, more secret locations.

RawStory noted that Gaetz never explained why he didn’t mention the alleged breeding program when he was actually in office.

Still, his revelation comes about a month after President Donald Trump announced plans on his TruthSocial platform to release “government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).”

Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, even claimed he had a speech in the works to announce the existence of extraterrestrials at the “right time.”

However, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to inquiries on the topic by saying “a speech on aliens would be news to me.”

Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance told Johnson over the weekend that he thinks what most people call ETs or aliens are “demons anyway, but that’s a longer discussion.”

Gaetz resigned from office in November 2024 in hopes of becoming Trump’s attorney general, but withdrew from the nomination after several Republican senators objected, noting he was the subject of a federal investigation as well as a congressional ethics probe into alleged sexual relations with a minor.

He currently hosts his own show on the conservative One America News Network.
