The White House’s social media account was mocked on Wednesday after it reposted a puzzling Truth Social comment by Donald Trump.

The message was brief for the president ― just eight words ― but was in his trademark all-caps and lacked any apparent context.

“YOU CAN’T COMPROMISE ON SANITY AND COMMON SENSE!” he wrote.

All-caps messages like the one Trump posted often come across as rude, like the poster is shouting.

Still, the White House social media team faithfully reprinted the capital lettering when it quoted Trump’s message on X, following up with a fawning “So true, Mr. President!”

But amid ongoing speculation about Trump’s cognitive and physical health, lots of social media users had a different reaction to the post: Mockery. Brutal mockery.

In fact, one woman couldn’t believe the White House let such an obvious target for sarcastic reactions fall through the cracks.

Wait, what? Who cleared that with a straight face? 😂 https://t.co/I5sNUjJczb

Others just laid into the White House.
