Promising review: "So this product is completely worth the money. The quality is amazing. I didn’t notice any smell after a few seconds of using it. My skin was smooth and bright but not sticky. It works like magic. I have sensitive skin, so I can’t use this product too close to my nose, but in the rest, it's amazing!" —Isabela L Get it from Amazon for $18.90 (also available in five other formulas). Read our Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch review! I suffer from hormonal acne — it's just something that I have come to terms with and will have to deal with for many more years to come, and while it's not fun, these acne patches make it sooo much easier. When I have a pimple about to come to a head, I pop one of these babies on it before bed and then peel it off along with all the gunk it pulls out. It definitely helps speed up the process, and they're gentle on my sensitive skin! Promising review: "OMG! It actually works! My son gets really large acne breakouts that are really hard to heal. He put these on before bed and woke up to his large white pimples being gone! Like, completely gone. I usually pay $50 a visit to the dermatologist for 30 minutes for him to get extractions, which is pretty painful for him. We will be ordering more of these and using these instead!! If I could give more stars, I would!" —Amazon Customer Get a pack of 36 from Amazon for $12.99 (also available in a pack of 72) Promising review: "It's gross in the most spectacular way. The amount of disgusting gunk that came out of my face was appalling, and I instantly gagged. However, my nose has never felt so clean and smooth for consecutive days. If you have oily skin, I definitely recommend washing your face first and applying it to the nose before moisturizing the rest of your face. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Everyone is getting this for Christmas...maybe because it's not cheap." —Justina BuzzFeed Writer Mallory Mower owns this balm and said, "I use Mad Rabbit products on my own tattoos. Every product is vegan and cruelty-free (making it great for sensitive skin). I've recommended it to all my friends with tattoos. The soothing gel is lightweight and calming, the sunscreen is effective without feeling heavy, and the balm makes tattoos look gorgeous (my arm pictured above, left). I'm truly surprised by how well color pops with this stuff!" Mad Rabbit was founded by college friends Oliver Zak and Selom Agbitor after seeing a gap in the market for all-natural products to heal, protect, and enhance tattoos. They pitched their tattoo salve in season 12 of Shark Tank. Promising review: "Product was awesome. It rejuvenated a 5-year-old tattoo and made it look like new again. Mad Rabbit absorbed into the skin very easily without being greasy." —Janson Ward Get it from Amazon for $16+ (available in four styles). Promising review: "I could tell these mitts were going to be exactly what I needed right out of the box. Excellent quality and easy to use! I’ve tried them twice already, and my skin is now incredibly smooth! After I scrubbed my arm, I looked at the mitt and saw it was covered with dead skin cells. I’ll be buying more of these as gifts for girlfriends (in a fun spa gift basket)!" —Danielle Promising review: "Saw this on TikTok and decided to give it a try since the price was amazing. OMG, buy it. I’ve always had dark circles under my eyes and now fine lines and crow's-feet. While this doesn’t completely eliminate my dark circles, the fine lines are really diminished. It wears extremely well under makeup and doesn’t feel cakey, or like there’s a ton of product on." —K.Grant Get it from Amazon for $5.94 (also available in packs of two and three). The color-adaptive formula is designed so that one of four shades can work on any skin tone. Promising review: "Took years off my eyes! This product is so reasonably priced. I came across a TikTok promoting this and decided to take a chance since the price was super reasonable. My eyes looked brighter in a good way, and the concealer worked so well that I felt I looked younger. I got compliments from friends asking what I did differently with my makeup. I recommend it." —Placeholder Get it from Amazon for $6 (available in four shades). Joesoef Skin Care is a small business that specializes in anti-acne skincare products. Promising review: "I recently saw a dermatologist talk about those clogged pores on and around your nose. If they are of uniform size, they aren't blackheads. She suggested using a sulfur soap to help remove or minimize those stubborn clogged pores. This has a slight sulfur smell, but it is not overwhelming, and it dissipates upon drying. It works! My pores look much smaller. After applying and drying, moisturize." —Sandy G Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in two sizes, two scents, and multipacks). Promising review: "If I could give this 10 stars, I would! I ran out of The Ordinary hyaluronic acid I’ve been using for a year, and no stores close by sold it, so I gave this a try. So glad I did because it’s a thousand times better!! I put it on first, then moisturizer, after I put on my primer and makeup, and it looks the best it’s ever looked. My pores were smaller in just three days, and my skin was so hydrated. I have combo skin, so my T-zone gets awfully oily. The fix is to make sure your skin is hydrated. Also, the bottle is twice the size of The Ordinary! This does it all!!! So very impressed." —smnthfinch Promising review: "It took me a little while to figure out the right angle to use this effectively, but once I did, it worked like a charm. I’ve used it for shaping eyebrows and managing the little bit of blonde peach fuzz I have on my upper lip. I haven’t tried it anywhere else but no bad reactions or pain, and relatively easy to maneuver with a bit of practice." —Kelly G. Promising reviews: "I caved to the TikTok hype, and now I am obsessed, lol! I have extremely sensitive skin, but this was the first product that I didn’t have to go through a 'getting used to' phase." —Shelby "I've used probably 98% of the skincare products on the market the last 20 years (for oily, aging, acne-prone skin) and bought this as kind of an 'oh no, not Gary' (from SpongeBob SquarePants) joke for my kids. Let me tell you, I have been so pleasantly surprised by this product! It smooths, hydrates, and makes the skin more plump with an even texture! Hasn't helped with occasional breakouts, but has really improved the overall texture and tone of my skin significantly! I would recommend and will buy again!" —Rachel Shafer Get it from Amazon for $18.99 (also available in a pack of two). Most reviewers recommend doing this treatment once per week. Promising review: "Caught wind of this on TikTok and decided to give it a whirl. Honestly, it’s pretty solid! It really makes my skin look tight and shiny like I just came out of a professional facial. It’s an overnight mask, so yeah, it does have to stay on for a while, which is a bit of a hassle, but the payoff? Totally worth it. My skin feels more elastic, and the pores look minimized, too. If you don’t mind the long wear time, this mask could be a game changer for your skincare routine!" —Nala Get a set of four from Amazon for $19 (available in three other varieties and a pack of 16). Promising review: "I have suffered from splitting and cracking fingers every fall and winter for years. I tried Eucerin, Lubriderm, and Gold Bond creams, but none seemed to relieve the splitting from reoccurring. I tried this, and within two and a half days, the splitting and cracking were no longer a factor. Since using the cream, I have not suffered any more cracking or splitting. I am on a busy schedule and only use it at night when I go to bed. It says it's non-greasy, but you can definitely feel a slick texture on your hands once it is applied. That's why I use it at night before bed when I don't have to open door knobs, touch smartphones, or shake hands. It has the texture of cake icing, goes on smoothly, and works into the skin quickly. It has no smell I can detect. I am so glad I found this cream; it has ended years of splitting and cracked fingers/hands." —T.H. Get it from Amazon for $6.92+ (available in three sizes and a two-pack). Our O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream deep dive goes into more details, so be sure to check it out. Promising review: "After just two days of use, this adorable little octopus has done wonders for me, smells great too. Here's how I used it: I wore down the stick just a little to where the texture from the salt is visible, scrubbed around on my face so there was plenty of product, then I used my fingers to gently massage all the gunk away. Rinse, pat dry, and enjoy the softness. Highly recommended for people with sensitive skin like me." —LuckLocust Check out our TruSkin Vitamin C Serum deep dive for more info! Promising review: "This stuff is amazing! I am 39 and have dark spots on my face from sun damage and some scarring from cystic acne. Holy cow, this has lightened my dark spots by at least 75%. Honestly, a miracle. And for the price! Other brands are four times the price. Try this out for sure. Stick to it and give it some time. I saw an amazing difference, so so happy with it. Also, some of the best customer service I’ve ever had." —Ashley F. Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in two sizes). If you're looking for a water-based cleanser to go with this one, reviewers love this pore-deep cleansing foam from the same brand for their double-cleansing routine! Promising review: "This is my first time ordering an oil-based cleanser, and I'm so glad I purchased this one. I originally saw this product on TikTok and wanted to see what the hype was all about. After using the cleanser on my dry face for 2–3 minutes, I could visibly see the white- and blackheads on my fingers. I was a little hesitant to try oil cleansing because I have acne-prone skin. However, my face has never looked better. After each use, my face is as soft as a baby's bottom, and my scarring doesn't look as deep! The cleanser has a light, clean scent. Not super strong! I am currently pairing this cleanser with the Anua heartleaf soothing toner to achieve glass skin #glassskinera." —Myshel Jensen This spray is safe to be used daily and won't leave behind any residue. Promising review: "Great spray! You get a lot of product for the price, and it’s an alternative to the Tower 28 spray. I’ve been using it for a week consistently now, and I have noticed improvements in my skin; the blemishes I had before are now gone, and I don’t see any new ones forming. Great to use during the summer if you sweat a lot. You can refresh your face throughout the day if needed to get rid of any extra bacteria from sweating." —Dogmom99 Promising review: "Gotta be the nicest lotion I have. It’s made my skin so smooth and soft. It’s so moisturizing. I have some scars, and this stuff has really helped to soften them and lighten their appearance. This stuff is super thick as well, a little goes a longgg way. It’s also such a good price. You get a lot of lotion for a fairly low cost, and it’s lasted well over a month and a half without going through too much, which is really nice. The smell, while light, can be a bit overwhelming if you’re sensitive to strong smells, so I would probably just use a bit less or mix it with another moisturizer to prevent it from being too overpowering, although a fragrance-free version exists." —John "OBSESSED with this scent! Beautifully silky texture that absorbs well into the skin. The bottle is cute, and the divot in the front helps grip for those who may have slick or weak grips. The scent is yummy and truly luxurious. Warm and sweet. Cozy. It's not a sickly-sweet type of scent. And this is coming from someone who is very sensitive to scents. I love this lotion. I apply it after a shower for silky, hydrated skin. I find myself pulling it daily to keep my skin soft and moisturized. Perfect lotion!!" —Rebekah Get it from Amazon for $9.97+ (available in 11 scents, including fragrance-free, and two-packs). Promising review: "I have very dry sensitive skin and also have eczema, and this lotion is amazing. I found it on TikTok and decided to give it a try because it’s hard to find good quality and affordable fragrance-free lotion. And let me tell you, this is some of the best lotion I have ever used. I’m currently on my fifth bottle. I have very dry skin, so it’s hard to find a good moisturizing location that doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. This lotion has never left me feeling greasy. It’s very lightweight." —The Edick’s Get it from Amazon for $7.97+ (available in two sizes and a two-pack). There is a bit of mixing involved — you'll need to add some apple cider vinegar for it to do its best work. This product is cruelty-free and formulated without additives or fragrances. Promising review: "I first want to share that I typically don’t share reviews, but this product has truly helped clear my skin. My adult acne has been out of control for some time now. I’ve tried everything, including hormone therapy, which didn’t help. I’ve ended up with a scarred face from so much picking at my acne. I’m sooo amazed by this mask. Yes, it dries your face, but a good moisturizer does the trick. So thankful for this product. I do masks all the time. The most recent was a black tea mask. It cleaned up my blackheads, but my acne remained. This seems to be doing the trick! Try it out! You won’t regret it." —Danielle Torres Get it from Amazon for $12.95+ (available in three sizes). Promising review: "TikTok made me buy it... But I wasn't disappointed! Love this stuff! It's very hydrating yet not greasy. I will definitely purchase this again, and I want to try other LilyAna products as well!" —Debbie Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in three sizes, a two-pack, and as a serum). Just presoak your feet, apply the gel, let sit for 5–10 minutes, and rinse! It's recommended you go back in afterward with a foot file just to make sure no residue or dead skin is left behind. Promising review: "I have the driest heels, and this is the ONLY product that has ever worked. Before I used this, my heels had some pretty deep cracks, and now they're almost baby-soft again. BUT please follow the directions. I left it on my super-dry, thick-callused heels for only three minutes, and the calluses were literally melting off! Wonderful product! So glad I don't have to go soak my feet in those tubs at the nail salon anymore." —Kiki Get it from Amazon for $12.99 (available in three scents and a pack of two). And remember, like with any retinol (that actually works) *just do not use it every day.* Start slow and work yourself up if needed, paying attention to your skin. It's recommended to use this at night and follow up with sunscreen in the morning! Promising review: "I absolutely love this stuff! I saw a dermatologist on TikTok who raved about this product and tried it out, and it's been the most amazing stuff! It's helped my face to clear up very quickly, removing all of the blemish spots and dark spots around my face. It's been one of the best products I've added to my face routine. This would be great for all ages/stages and for any weather types. It doesn't moisturize much, but that's not its intention, and there is no scent." —Successful Solo Check out BuzzFeed editor Daniel Boan's CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum review for more deets! Promising review: "After just about three weeks of use, I’ve seen such a positive change in both the evenness of tone and the texture of my skin. Melasma and acne scarring have faded pretty dramatically — I don’t even bother putting on foundation when I do my makeup in the morning. The oil is so lightweight and doesn’t exacerbate my already oily complexion." —L T C Get it from Amazon for $11.12+ (available in three sizes). Check out one user's glowing review on TikTok. I was dealing with some serious postpartum BO, and this saved me! Results from the first use!" —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (also available in three other scents/formulas, including unscented, and a two-pack). Promising review: "I have been searching for a sunscreen like this for a long time. I really dislike putting anything heavy on my face and prefer a gel-like consistency. I am a big fan of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid serum, and the texture of this sunscreen feels pretty close to that. I have tried much more expensive 'serum' sunscreens and find this one my favorite and for a much better price point." —JHoch Pro tip: Pair this with E.l.f.'s Holy Hydration! Daily Cleanser ($6) for an inexpensive double-cleansing routine. Promising review: "I purchased this on a whim because of TikTok and honestly have no regrets. The scent is faint but the perfect amount of smell. It moisturizes my face immediately, and my makeup comes off super easily. I absolutely LOVE it." —Meli Get it from Amazon for $6+ (available in three sizes and a two-pack). Promising review: "I have every skin issue you can think of. Rosacea, acne (hormonal, cystic, whiteheads, blackheads), dehydration, excessive oiliness, redness, all of it. I’ve spent probably thousands on a multitude of different products, trying to find one that would at least make a dent. I’ve had many procedures and many trips to the dermatologist. Nothing I’ve ever used, nothing I’ve ever done, has made such a profound difference in the appearance of my skin. Having rosacea, my face often felt hot, bumpy, and burned. While my complexion is naturally fair and pink, this has seriously covered all my bases in a gentle and effective way. I’ve been trying to turn my skin around for YEARS! This was the product that did it. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. It has seriously changed my life!" —hc Get it from Amazon for $10.50+ (available in two sizes). * Products If You Want Your Skin To Stop Acting Up And Start Acting Right * According To Reviewers, These 28 Skincare Products "Work Like Magic"...So, Yeah, You'll Want To Try 'Em * Newer Skincare Products That’ll Revamp Your Daily Routine From Start To Finish * Skincare Products That Work So Well, You’ll Become Obsessed With Your Reflection * Skincare Products For All The Acne That’s *Not* On Your Face Plus, oil-free moisturizers, and finds from Amazon, Sephora, and Walmart.
