“One day, a Gen Z’er is going to rage-bait the wrong person. I don’t know what’ll happen when they do, but it’s not going to be pretty.” I'm an Associate Editor on BuzzFeed's Pop Culture team who spends my days fangirling over all my favorite TV shows and movies. "Gen Z’ers who spend thousands of dollars on college, then move home and complain that they can’t find a job paying six figures! No one starts at the top! Doesn’t your education include the words 'apprentice' or 'intern'? I remember entry wages at $2 an hour. Suck it up, buttercup! "Now that I’m retired, I prefer to run errands during that time between morning and late afternoon rush hours, when I think places won’t be so busy. Getting anywhere through traffic is very difficult. Seems no one is working; everyone is out running errands. How are younger people supporting themselves? More importantly, how are they paying social security taxes on their income so I can keep collecting social security?" Responses have been edited for length/clarity.
