Trump's Reaction To Ex-Ally's Death-Threat Concerns Couldn't Be More Chilling

Marjorie Taylor Greene says President Donald Trump had a truly heartless response when she told him about death threats she and her family were getting after he denounced her as a “traitor” to the MAGA movement. The ex-congresswoman recalled the brutal aftermath of her breakup with Trump on podcaster and tech entrepreneur Mario Nawfal’s Tuesday podcast, where she explained how her decision to sign a discharge petition calling on the government to release records related to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein turned her world upside down. Greene said she was bombarded with violent messages after Trump dubbed her a traitor for refusing to remove her name from the petition, but only reached out to his administration when her son, Derek Greene, became the target of “credible” threats she said came from “overseas.” Terrified her son was in serious danger, she sent copies to top Trump brass such as Vice President JD Vance, FBI Director Kash Patel and others, while also personally texting the president to explain how extreme the situation was. The Georgia politician says that when she told Trump that their “political disagreements” should never put their children’s safety at risk, his retort was nothing short of venomous. “He specifically said, ‘It’s your fault, and you deserve it.’ So Donald Trump said it was my fault and I deserved for my son to be murdered,” said Greene, also claiming she still has the texts to prove it. While Greene told Nawfal that she got a “compassionate” response from Vance along with a curt “on it” from Patel, she was shocked that Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, and Wiles’ former deputy, James Blair, didn’t even bother to reply. Making sure no one forgot the context, she reminded everyone how the schism stemmed from her decision to advocate for victims of Epstein and “some of the most rich, powerful men on Earth.” Once one of Trump’s most loyal supporters, Greene left Congress in January after choosing not to run for reelection, saying she’d face a “hurtful and hateful primary” powered by a brazenly vengeful president.
