'Treat You Like S**t': Seth Meyers Hits JD Vance With A Stark Warning About Trump

“Late Night” host Seth Meyers offered his own theory as to who is really at the wheel of the Trump administration concerning Iran. Meyers pointed out that many Republicans are not fans of the memorandum of understanding signed by President Donald Trump on Wednesday to halt the conflict with Iran. He compared the comments made by right-leaning pundits to those made about former President Joe Biden during his administration. “Republicans hate this deal so much, they’re doing exactly what they criticized Biden for,” Meyers said. “They’re saying that, actually, Trump’s people are the ones who are in charge and Trump himself doesn’t really know what’s going on.” Meyers then played several Fox News clips claiming that Vice President JD Vance, who was one of the chief negotiators of the memorandum, did not keep Trump apprised of the situation. “So Netanyahu tricked him into the war, and now JD Vance tricked him out of the war?” Meyers said. “And you think he’s doing a good job, why? Because from where I’m sitting, it looks like he’s a fucking pushover. Does he fall for phishing scams, too?” Meyers added that there’s a distinct reason why people refer to Vance as Trump’s “number two.” “So if the deal works, Trump will get the credit, and if it doesn’t work, JD will get the blame. This is a reminder to JD Vance, they call you Trump’s ‘number two,’ because he’s gonna treat you like shit,” Meyers said.
