Promising review: "The Amazon Smart Plug 2-Pack is fantastic! Setup was incredibly simple — I had both plugs up and running in just a few minutes using the Alexa app. They connect seamlessly with Alexa, so I can control lamps and appliances with just my voice or through routines. These smart plugs work reliably and have opened up so many possibilities around the house. I love being able to schedule lights, automate fans, and even control things when I’m away from home. They’re compact, unobtrusive, and haven’t caused any connectivity issues. Super affordable for a 2-pack and extremely user-friendly. Perfect for anyone looking to start or expand their smart home setup!" —Olivia Hasenkamp Price: $12.99 (originally $24.99) — and shop all Amazon Smart Home deals here Promising review: "I purchased this item because my job went from hybrid to work from home. My internet router is located in my master bedroom, but my office is in the middle of my house, meaning I didn’t have a strong signal for work. I called my internet provider, and they wanted to charge me a lot of money to extend the internet across my house. I ended up buying this extender to help with the signal. I’m glad I purchased it because now I have coverage on the other side of my house. It was easy to install, and the app is super simple, all for a great price. Thanks to the TP-Link extender, without it, I would’ve had to go back to work at the office." —Jary Price: $19.97 (originally $29.99) and shop all the TP-Link deals here Promising review: "This camera is AMAZING. The night quality is stunning. You wouldn't even be able to tell what time of night it is unless you go back and check the timestamp on the footage. The AI detection is amazing; it detects people and cars. I thankfully don't get random notifications of bugs flying past my camera or animals, just people and cars & it tells me "vehicle detected." There's also a super cool feature where you can speak through the camera and, of course, hear audio back. I was so proud of myself for setting this up by myself; it was so simple and easy to do. Again. This product works really well. It is a decent size. I have it set up so that it's not obvious what it is unless you know it's a camera; it blends in pretty well against the brick on the outside of my house. Definitely money well spent and I have been considering buying another one to place on the other side of my home. It stores a decent amount of camera recordings, but that is also dependent on your app settings/ membership." —Amazoncustomerh Price: $65.99 (originally $189.99) — Blink is running really great Prime Day deals right now, so check out the featured deals if you're looking for multiple types of home security options. Promising review: "Bought this light because I thought it was cool, but it is more than that! I use it every day, and it has many colors and patterns to choose from. The thing I love the most is that you can set up times for it to come on and turn off. You can set how bright you want it, so I had it turned on with a dimmed light to help me wake up in early mornings." —Rueben Thao Price: $59.99 (originally $99.99; available in two colors) Promising review: "I have trusted Anker products for years, and this purchase was no exception. The charger is compact, and charges fairly quickly — even while charging an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods simultaneously. The MagSafe feature is very convenient and also makes it easy to position your phone in a way to easily see it if you use your phone for an alarm. But the small footprint and reliable charging are its best features (for me). Have tried many other multi-charging stations and this has been the best one so far." —William G. Price: $59.99 (originally $89.99; available in two colors) — check out Anker's other Prime Day deals. Promising review: "Easy to assemble, sturdy, and super smooth height adjustment. The motor is quiet, and the memory presets make it effortless to switch between sitting and standing. Plenty of space for my setup, and it feels very solid. Highly recommend!" —John Lopes Price: $94.99+ (originally $129.99+; available in three sizes and five colors) — and check out Saigo's other great Prime Day deals on electric standing desks. Check out a TikTok of the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker in action. Promising review: "This is my most FAVORITE thing I have ordered on Amazon ever! This speaker is cute to look at and has AMAZING sound! It’s not that big, so it fits easily on a bookshelf, but it fills our entire kitchen with music that isn’t scratchy or distorted even at higher volumes. It’s super easy to pair with Bluetooth. For the money, it’s a great value. I can’t think of one bad thing about it-the best speaker ever!" —Nan Price: $179.99 (typically $299.99; available in three colors) — check out the other Marshall Prime Day deals. Promising review: "This chair is exactly as pictured. Seems like real, solid wood arms and back. I do think the look of wood grain has been enhanced by the way the stain was applied, but no criticisms for that, and it's very attractive, an instant upgrade for our home office. My husband is 6'5", and I'm 5'3", and we BOTH find this chair very comfortable. The back is "not too high" and "not too low" — just a remarkably good height for support. Definitely recommend this on all points." —PAT A Price: $151.99+ (original $209.99; available in four upholstery colors) Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping editor Melanie Aman has to say: After working from home for the last three years, I've realized how much I value the air quality in my apartment. I live in an older building (think turn-of-the-century old), and there are lots of little holes and crevices where dirt, dust, and allergens can creep in. Coupled with the terrible air quality we've experienced in NYC because of wildfires in Canada a few months ago, the air in my home often triggers a sore throat, congestion, and sneezing fits in the morning. I have two air purifiers already, but I realized that buying replacement filters is ANNOYING and surprisingly expensive. The fact that this Shark air purifier can clean the air and doesn't need a filter replacement for five years is just *chef's kiss*. I keep this in the small office off the kitchen to help filter out odors from cooking, and it does a fantastic job. It also comes with a scented cartridge designed to keep your home smelling fresh. (Unfortunately, the scent gives me a headache, so I don't often have it running, but it does smell lovely!) Price: $99.99+ (originally $159.99+; available in eight colors/styles) – and shop all the Shark deals here Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping editor Melanie Aman has to say about it: "My partner and I had been on the fence about upgrading our coffee setup to include an espresso machine, but were always a bit leery about the price. Would we use it enough to make it worth it? Would it be a hassle to use? Would it take up a good chunk of our kitchen counters? Let me say that we are kicking ourselves for not getting one sooner! While this was a very thoughtful gift for my partner's birthday from his family, it is truly worth the price tag and is something I would totally repurchase with my own money if I ever needed to. We've used it pretty much every day since we got it, which means that the amount we've saved on espresso drinks at NYC coffee shops has pretty much covered the price of the machine. TBH, I don't even want to go get coffee elsewhere unless it's a super fancy, seasonal latte that I can't make at home. Using the machine is incredibly easy: It turns on with the push of a button and is ready to use in seconds — no waiting 20 minutes for the machine to warm up! The touchscreen, which I didn't think I needed initially, is a huge reason that I would recommend splurging on this model over its cheaper cousin, the Breville Barista Express (which is also on sale and a fan favorite, so still a solid option!). It's nice to toggle through the menu to select the drink you want. And the touchscreen walks you through each step, so the process doesn't seem so intimidating. You can even save custom drinks once you find the settings you like. We haven't had the machine long enough to have to descale it, but given how easy every other part of using and cleaning this machine is, I'm not super concerned. This has been a truly delightful addition to my kitchen, and if you're on the fence like I was, do it, do it, do it! You will not regret it!" Price: $749.95 (originally $999.95; available in three finishes) — be sure to check out the rest of Breville's Prime Day deals Check out a TikTok of the Treaflow walking pad in action. Promising review: "This is the second walking pad I have purchased, and this one is by far my favorite. I have a standing desk that I use it with, and it's so compact that it fits neatly under my loveseat in my office. Super easy setup, overall great value! The speed options are great as well, and overall it works great! It also does not make a horrible sound when I use it, unlike the previous one I owned (from a different brand)." —Keihra Promising review: "I love this power strip. The design is nice with plenty of outlets and the cord length is perfect for my desk. Awesome quality for the price. I would totally recommend to anyone." —Mrs. Jones Price: $19.99+ (originally $27.98+; available in four cord lengths and with or without wireless phone charging) Promising review: "I have a pair of the small Echo Dot speakers and I love them so much that I'll be adding the larger one at some point. Our apartment is a small 1-BR, but there's this great picture ledge running all around the room that's deep enough for the speakers to sit on. I have them in different corners and they fill the room with sound. I nearly always have them streaming music from Pandora or Amazon Music while I work. Every now and then I'll connect to my phone via Bluetooth to play specific songs from YouTube. While they don't provide lots of really deep bass, I've been delighted with the overall quality of the speakers (and patting myself on the back for snagging two when they were 50% off last year)." —Bree V. Price: $34.99 (originally $49.99; available in three colors) — be sure to check out the rest of the Echo & Alexa Prime Day deals. Promising review: "Perfect desk light! Sturdy enough, easy to install, good size, doesn’t take up desk space! I actually like turning the room light off and just working with this on, and the different tones of light are great as well!" —Storm Price: $19.92+ (originally $25.99+; available in eight colors and three sizes) — check out the rest of the Airlonv lighting deals My colleague Maitland Quitmeyer has this and LOVES it: I've been using my Kindle Paperwhite (a previous generation) before bed for years — and after reading for a while, I turn down the brightness to a low level just slightly dimmer than I'd want — after a page or two, my brain goes "Nope!" and shuts off to sleep. AND it helps me not even start thinking the anxious or negative thoughts that *usually* keep me up at night. I got to upgrade to this new Kindle Paperwhite, and the warm light feature is a game-changer. And the page turns and responsiveness of this model are indeed faster — and I can really tell the difference compared to my old Kindle! Promising review: "I can’t say enough good things about my Kindle Paperwhite — it’s truly a reader’s dream! The screen is crisp and easy on the eyes, even in bright sunlight or total darkness, thanks to the adjustable backlight. No glare, no straining —just pure reading bliss. The lightweight design makes it super comfortable to hold, even for long reading sessions. Plus, the battery life is incredible — I can go weeks without needing to charge it! It’s also waterproof, which means I can finally read by the pool or in the bath without worrying. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to carry an entire library with me wherever I go. Whether I’m traveling, commuting, or just relaxing at home, I always have something great to read at my fingertips. If you’re on the fence about getting one—do it. The Kindle Paperwhite is sleek, powerful, and makes reading more convenient and enjoyable than ever. I’m completely obsessed with mine!" —Amber Goddard Price: $124.99 (originally $159.99) — and shop all the Kindle deals here Check out this TikTok comparing them to AirPods. Promising review: "I’ve been using these Powerbeats earbuds daily for workouts and calls, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is crisp with deep bass, and the ear hook design keeps them secure even during intense exercise. Battery life is impressive — I can go days without recharging. Pairing with my devices was seamless, and the Bluetooth connection is reliable. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for durable, high-performance wireless earbuds." —Sherif Bahgat Price: $179.95 (originally $249.95; available in four colors) Promising review: "This is a total luxury, but it sounds amazing! They are very sturdy and so easy to connect. They really cancel noise, you can have someone in front of you speaking, and you won't be able to listen, so it is very helpful when you need to focus or just want to zone out, but you can turn off the noise canceling with a button in the headphones if you need. They are heavier than other brands I've had, but not so much as to be uncomfortable. The battery lasts a LOT, and they charge pretty quickly." —Suyapa Sierra Price: $399.99+ (originally $549.99; available in five colors and with or without AppleCare+) — and shop the Apple deals here Promising reviews: "I honestly cannot get over how dreamy this board is. It’s easy to install, the frame looks high-quality, and the size is perfect. It’s nice because it has two holes in the back to stop it from moving/swaying... The design is so gorgeous and versatile that it can fit so many different interior styles. Would 1000% recommend!!" —Amazon Customer "This pinboard gives such a nice look to my office! I can’t wait to fill it up! My design vibe was moody vintage, and this fits perfectly!" —Ruben Rivera Price: $86.99+ (originally $109.99+ (available in three sizes and four colors). Peruse the rest of the Kate & laurel Prime Day deals. Promising review: "I have so many compliments for this chair. First and foremost, as a woman in the gaming community, finding a good chair that fits me has always been a difficult task. This chair is perfect. I have NEVER found a chair that fits me correctly. Especially having the neck rest pillow in the correct place is so nice. The armrests are just right. The leg rest is just right. I am 5'5, and it is an absolute perfect fit. The cushion on this chair is an absolute dream! It is so comfortable and supportive. Not too firm or too soft. Feels strong and as if it will last. I have carpet in my room, and typically, on these types of chairs, you want a hard-surfaced floor. My carpet was no match for the wheels on this thing. The footrest is nice and sturdy. I've always had problems with flimsy leg rests in the past, but this one is sturdy, and I can actually use it. Super excited about that. Installation was easy. They provide easily decipherable text and images, as well as all the screws, bolts, and tools that you will need. I was on the fence about buying this, but I couldn't be happier that I decided to go through with it. 10/10 recommend." —Ivy manning Price: $129.99+ (originally $189.99+ (available in two sizes and eight colors). Promising review: "I ordered this lamp because of its appearance. I didn't NEED a depressed duck lamp ... but it has totally filled a void in my life I didn't know existed. Everyone who sees it pokes it. The lamp is actually very functional. It's got a really nice set of brightness options and the glow is yellowish, which is much nicer than white in a dim/dark room. One thing that isn't mentioned in the description is that its legs are utterly floppy. It's terrific." —Literated Check out this TikTok review to learn more. Promising review: "It's frustrating that I didn't find this mouse sooner. The ability to change how the scroll wheel works is mandatory for me. Having a second scroll wheel on the side for a different function is just amazing. If you've used other Logitech mice, then you know what this is and will love it. The ability to just recharge it instead of changing batteries all the time is a huge improvement. It's extremely comfortable because it fits my hand so well. It's a bit heavier than some mice I've used, and that does help with the control just a bit. It is pretty responsive. It's a bit expensive for a mouse, but after using it for a while, I would say that the price is fully justified." —Don Carter Price: $89.99 (originally $119.99) — don't miss the rest of Logitech's Prime Day deals —Quirky Things On Sale For Prime Day You Won’t Be Able To Resist —What Parents Should Actually Buy During Prime Day —Things You’ll Want To Splurge On During Prime Day —Things At Their Lowest-Ever Prices This Prime Day And check out our roundups of the best deals across a variety of categories, including home, beauty, food & kitchen, practical, under-$25, TikTok finds, and more.
