The Australian actor is reflecting on the divisive third season of Euphoria. Jacob Elordi in the third and final season of Euphoria This article contains major spoilers for the final season of Euphoria. While many of us found that last season of Euphoria hard to watch for one reason or another, it seems it was no cake-walk to film, either. Earlier this week, cast member Jacob Elordi made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where his Euphoria co-star Colman Domingo was filling in for the show’s regular host. Naturally, it wasn’t long before the conversation turned to Euphoria, with Jacob joking that he’s convinced that creator Sam Levinson only brought it back for one last season “to torture me”. Indeed, Jacob’s character didn’t have the easiest time of it in Euphoria’s third and final season. Jacob Elordi's Nate met a grisly end in the final season of Euphoria Over the course of seven episodes, Nate was chased, beaten up, dismembered and eventually buried alive with poisonous snakes in his final moments. The Wuthering Heights star recalled: “It was like, six weeks of me just getting beat by a seven-foot guy. I was just running the whole time. “I got locked in a coffin for two days straight with prosthetics and a fake tongue, and I couldn’t see out of my eyes. And then Sam put snakes into the coffin.” Despite the seemingly “torturous” shoot, Jacob has previously claimed that he was happy about how things turned out for his character, calling Nate’s death a “cool way to go”. “Nate is someone who’s made so many mistakes and made so many dark choices, it’s cool to see it all come to what it’s come to,” the Australian star enthused at the time. Just a week later, in the series finale, another Euphoria was killed off, with Zendaya’s character Rue overdosing on fentanyl, having struggled with substance abuse issues throughout the show’s run. All three seasons of Euphoria are now streaming on Now and HBO Max in the UK.
