“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert said Monday’s news cycle “might’ve been the weirdest weird that ever weirded” as President Donald Trump took a DoorDash order at the White House while answering questions about an image he posted of himself as Jesus Christ.

“If you just woke up from a coma and that report was the first thing you saw, you’d ask the doctor to put you back in,” Colbert cracked on Tuesday night’s show.

Trump claimed the image depicted himself as a doctor, not Jesus.

Colbert said Trump “either posted a picture of himself as Jesus or he doesn’t know what doctors look like.”

And that’s not the only religious controversy surrounding Trump this week, as the president has also been firing off verbal attacks on Pope Leo XIV.

“Why would you start a beef with the pope?” a baffled Colbert wondered aloud. “According to a recent NBC poll, Pope Leo leads everyone in America in approval ratings.”

In that poll, the pope had a net approval rating of +34, while Trump was 12 points underwater.

“It’s gotta piss Trump off to learn that the most popular guy on the planet lives in a palace dripping with gold and wears an insane hat ― and it’s not him,” Colbert said.
