Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday said President Donald Trump seems to love AI-generated pictures and videos of himself, as he keeps sharing them on social media.

And that gave the host an idea for keeping Trump out of trouble.

“Lock him in a room with a big bucket of KFC, put him on an IV drip of AI videos of himself climbing Mount Everest and fistfighting a shark, dry humping Marilyn Monroe, you name it,” he said. “Let him do that.”

But Trump is still finding plenty of time to do other things ― including issuing a huge number of pardons and other acts of clemency, and is reportedly promising mass pardons for White House staffers.

“He has promised to pardon anyone who comes within 200 feet of the Oval Office,” Kimmel said. “Basically, everyone but Melania will get a pardon when he goes.”

Kimmel pointed out that Trump in his first term issued 144 pardons over four years in office. In the 15 months of his second term, he’s already issued more than 1,600.

“I mean, 1600?” Kimmel asked out loud. “That must be every pedophile he knows!”

Trump has pardoned supporters convicted of fraud and other white-collar crimes, as well as issued blanket pardons to all of his supporters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 ― several of whom have since been convicted of crimes including sex crimes against children and possessing child sexual abuse material.
